Vacation at the Beach '08

We had a great time at Surfside Beach! We went to Waccatee Zoo, had our picture taken holding a tiger cub and baby monkey, and of course, spent lots of time on the sandy beach too! Parker caught his first fish right outside the back door of our condo. Kennedy fed lots of animals by hand at the zoo. Momma got some much needed sunshine and daddy did alot of chauffering. :-) He's such a good sport! He did actually spend time playing in the waves while Momma rested a crick in her neck. :-(

Summer has been pretty eventful so far. Going to the pool about every day, football games twice a week and visiting cousin Kylee who was in from NYC for 2 weeks! It's been a ball of a time! We're looking forward to a much needed family vacation next week.....to the beach we go!
Hope you all have a very fun and safe 4th!

Yea! A blog for me!!

Hello Everyone!

I'm so glad to finally have a blog to update all our family and friends about what's happening in the Robinson house!

This first post is a rather sad one as our sweet Charlie dog had to be put down yesterday. We are all very sad and missing her greatly. She was a great dog that we've had since b.c. (before children)! She suffered a long time and we couldn't bear to watch it anymore. We truly felt it would be selfish to try to keep it up any longer. I haven't been able to empty her water or food bowl. I can't even bring myself to straighten the dining room chairs that she always displaced as she scratched her back. Those of you who know me well, know that having things out of "alignment" drives me nuts! But, I just can't do it. I THINK I'm all cried out, but still feel the lump in my throat. We will all truly miss her for a long time to come.

Thank you to all of those who have been so supportive over this long journey and especially the last 24 hours. We are blessed to have such loving family and friends!
